"My winemaking philosophy is simple: Wine must smell great and taste even better, no exceptions. I admit it: I am a hedonist. I love wine, women and song, and, oh yes, FOOD! The unbreakable bond between wine and food is the energy behind my overarching efforts in winemaking. I am looking for small “gem” vineyards giving up unique and precious varietal grapes that can be turned into wines of class and distinction. This kind of winemaking is a hands-on craft whose result is endlessly satisfying – a true pleasure of the flesh. Combining that winemaking experience with people and foods is my joy in life. Wine is the catalyst of social interaction, food is the fuel. Oh the joys of hedonism!!"
